
Title – why 3+1?
The project “FESTIVAL 3+1” is named in accordance with the mission of the civic association TRIALOG, which is to promote activities for a stable and sustainable development of the civil society and to deepen of the triple beneficial communication and co-operation of three sectors of society.
WHY THREE:
The number “3” in the festival title means three dimensions of society, namely non-profit sector, private (profit) sector and public sector.
WHY ONE:
The number “1” in the project title indicates the specific cultural programme that is held during the festival every year.
“FESTIVAL 3+1” is a socio-cultural community event, that is conceived as an opportunity for a mutual meeting, establishing a dialogue among participants, linking-up their partnership, joining new contacts and deepening co-operation among them.
Main festival idea
“FESTIVAL 3+1” is namely a socio-cultural event that is conceived as an opportunity for a mutual meeting of representatives of three society sectors. It is an occasion for establishing a dialogue among participants, linking-up their partnership, joining new contacts and deepening co-operation among them. It is possible to treat this project as the suitable instrument for achieving the interaction among citizens, artists, politicians, youth and businessmen at local and international level.
The organization of the festival and the delivery of the cultural programme is based on active co-operation with young people. Every next volume of the FESTIVAL 3+1 is used as a presentation of actual co-operation and displaying common projects that are started up during the whole year.
The various cultural programmes and events address the general public regardless of age, social status, nationality or faith. The underlying mission of activities is simply to show that co-operation is possible among all subjects of the civil society and that partnership is bringing more fruits than working separately. In this respect, the aim of the activities is to connect people, to bring them into dialogue with each other and to initiate co-operation and relationships in the atmosphere of a trans-national cultural event.
Traditional festival programme consists of music festival, presentation of local non-profit organizations, summer school trialog, theatre performances, film festival, exhibitions, discussion, seminars, presentations of intercultural dialogue projects and lost of workshops (African Drumming Workshop, Samba Drumming and Percussion Workshops, African Dance Workshop, Marionette Theatre Workshops, Street-art and Graffiti Workshops etc).

The Project “FESTIVAL 3+1” /Promoting partnership among three sectors of civil society/ was realized with the support of the ‘Europe for Citizens’ Programme of the European Union.

"With the support of the 'Europe for Citizens' Programme of the European Union".
Thanks to this support, the festival programme grew in many its aspect. The local event became an international one. It was a platform for implementation of lots of workshops and educational programmes at the local and international level.
The project directly involved local non-profit organisations, companies and magistrates together with international youngsters from 5 EU Member States (Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovak Republic) and professional artists from 5 EU Member States (Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Slovak Republic, Spain) and also artists from Switzerland,Kenya, Tanzania, Brazil, Argentina and Philippines.
This project “FESTIVAL 3+1” contributed to building-up the European citizenship, implementation of the idea of intercultural dialog and strengthening the international partnerships and awareness of the idea of united Europe.
The organisation of the festival and the delivery of the cultural programme was based on active co-operation with young people. The project anniversary showed to the international participants the project as a well-tried and successful example of the implementation of the idea of “trialog” (dialog and sustain cooperation among three sectors of civil society). Moreover, the project focuses on the follow-up activities of the international youth participants in their own countries after experience of this common project “FESTIVAL 3+1”.
